This program is designed for Executives who want to enhance their English skills and introduce variety, accuracy and idiomatic language into their Business Communication. The uniqueness of the program is its focus on the soft skills that are key to effective communication in a wide range of Business contexts.
The Executive English course gives professionals what they need to improve their level
of English with a particular emphasis on those soft skills essential to successful
interaction in business. As a preliminary step, students will be required to explore their
own style of communication and to identify their strengths and weaknesses in a training
environment that is both challenging and supportive.
The term soft skills covers a range of communicative competencies upon which the
success of individuals and organizations depend. The Executive English course
endeavours to help communicators focus more effectively on their various audiences and
to explore problems in communication through the accomplishment of practical tasks.
The day is divided into four periods, each dealing with a topic or project requiring a
combination of structures and soft skills. A balance of brainstorming, research,
information transfer, performance testing and reflection in the context of real-world
communication has been designed to facilitate progress in a very wide range of English
forms.
Executive English explores the verbal and non-verbal skills through interaction in dynamic situations. With the maximum class size of 6, this course offers a relaxed but professional atmosphere that is sensitive to the special needs of Executives.
