We offer an English + Culinary Arts program in partnership with Liaison College.
Liaison College is the largest trainer of chefs and cooks in Ontario. Founded in 1996, it is increasingly renowned for the strengths of its programs, instructors and graduates. Their culinary programs are designed specifically to address the needs ofstudents and to provide them with the skills, training and knowledge toachieve success in the future. Their instructors are both talented chefs and gifted teachers, holding the professional designation of Master Chef or Certified Chef de Cuisine.
English plus Recreational Cooking for individuals includes 10 lessons per week of General English at our school in Toronto Monday to Friday 8:45 to 10:25 and 20 hours per week of cooking classes at Liaison College Toronto West Monday to Friday 12:00 to 4:00. Materials included are kitchen uniform and a professional quality knife and utensil set. Offered in 5 or 10 weeks options.
The Toronto West campus is located in Toronto's west-end near Lake Ontario. Classes are taught in a professional teaching kitchen in an historic building, easily accessible by public transit or car.

The school offers an English + Tennis program in partnership with Bayview Village Tennis Club.
This package comes in a 4 week options and includes 20 lessons per week of English at our school in Toronto from 8:45 to 12:20 and 15 hours per week of Tennis instruction at Bayview Village Tennis Club from 1:00 to 4:00 Monday to Friday.
The Club is a recognized Ontario Tennis Association Junior Development Centre and has won the award for Outstanding Achievement for the past 10 consecutive years. Director of the club, Mr. Peter Nielsen, has successfully worked with juniors at all levels of the game from grass roots to international. A National Senior Champion himself, Peter was employed on the National coaching team for Tennis Canada.
Peter and his staff approach the teaching and training of players in a progressive, fun-filled manner. Program content and teaching methods are implemented by certified professionals. Players receive a video analysis, a written evaluation and benefits of a proven system endorsed by the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada.

English + Floral Design |

Our language school in Toronto is offering an English + Floral Design course in partnership with The Canadian Institute of Floral Design. Students follow ESL classes in combination with Floral Design (flower arranging).
This is a 6 week package that includes 3 weeks of General English (25 lessons per week) at our school in Toronto plus 3 weeks of full time Floral Design diploma course at The Canadian Institute of Floral Design. After successful completion students will receive a diploma in Floral Design from CIFD.
The Professional Floral Design Program prepares you for a career in the floral industry. Many graduates have opened retail stores and wholesale floral outlets. Certain students enroll in our program purely for the passion of flowers and to achieve a rewarding hobby or pastime. We offer blended theory with practical "hands on" instruction throughout the program.
Our Floral Instructors have trained over 3,000 students professionally. They are respected and noted in both the teaching and business world. And because we endeavor to remain in top form, they remain current within the industry to better instruct you.
Curriculum
- Design Forms: Symmetrical Triangle, Circular, Asymmetrical Triangle, Horizontal, Vertical, Oval, Fan shape, Crescent & Hogarth Curve, European Designs, Hand tied Bouquets.
- Design Techniques: Basing, Focal area, Terracing, Grouping, Clustering, Zoning, Banding, Binding, Shadowing, Framing & Parallelism. Color harmony and new Experimental Design styles.
- Proper care and handling of fresh cut flowers: Processing fresh cut flowers, Merchandising, Flower & Plant Identification, The availability of flowers and plants in the Canadian Marketplace.
- Wedding Etiquette: Wedding order procedures, Wiring & Taping techniques, Preparing a Brides Bouquet, Bridesmaids, Maid of Honors, Flower girls, Set up flowers for the Ceremony and Reception, Corsages and Boutonnieres. CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNIQUES ARE EMPHASIZED.
- Funerals and Sympathy: Tributes Step by step construction of the Funeral Basket, Casket Spray, Standing Spray, Vase Arrangement, Wreaths, Hearts and Crosses, Appropriate pricing and delivery.
- Wholesale Excursion: Our program includes an exciting and informative field trip. We will visit the flower auction and many other wholesale florists. You will see a large selection of fresh, silk, and dried flowers. Orchids and tropical plants and floral supplies, gift baskets, Christmas and more.
