A Fun Summer of Learning & Adventure in Ottawa - 6 to 17 years
Ottawa is a fun place to study English or French and offers many opportunities to practice both languages. As it is the capital, there are festivals and events happening every week all year round. our Summer Language Camps are held downtown on a beautiful university campus.
In the mornings, students attend classes taught by our professional language teachers.
Afternoons and weekends are packed full of sightseeing, sports and cultural activities led by the trained and dynamic activity leaders.
In Ottawa, students may study English or French. There are three options:
- Day Camp
- Camp with Homestay Accommodation
- Camp with Residence Accommodation
Our Summer Camp Programs include:
- 15 hours of instruction per week
- Pedagogical materials
- Afternoon activities
- All day Saturday excursions
- Airport transfers (options 2 & 3)
- Accommodation in either homestay or residence (options 2 or 3)
- All meals (options 2 & 3)

Language Instruction |

On the first day, students are tested and placed in small group classes where they learn to communicate in their new language - French or English - right from the very first lesson. Focus is placed on developing students' listening and speaking skills and is taught through interesting, age-appropriate, interactive lessons. Students receive a report card and certificate on their last day at camp indicating a summary of the material covered and their progress.

The Summer Camp in Ottawa takes place on the beautiful campus of St-Paul University located at 223 Main Street in central Ottawa. Students have free access to a large computer room with high speed internet, cafeteria and snack bar. The campus is in a beautiful green setting with lots of mature trees, playing fields and the Rideau River in the back. Public transportation is easily accessible.
Residence
The Residence is on campus just steps from where the classes are held.
Each suite features:
- Two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed
- Private kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator, and sink
- Private three piece bathroom
- Large desk and work area
- Cable television, air conditioning, internet access
- Telephone with voice-mail and free local calls
Other amenities:
- Lounge, games and movie room
- Outdoor patio with barbeque facilities
- Full housekeeping and linen service
- On-site laundry and kitchen facilities
