In the mornings, students attend classes taught by school's professional language teachers.     Included in the Combo Package, you will find:
    1. Enrolment of your child in Day Language Camp Program (15 hours of English or French instruction per week, fun, supervised, afternoon activities and all day Saturday Excursions)
    2. Accommodation in Residence: 1 private, two-bedroom suite (two double beds) each with cable T.V., high speed internet access, telephone, kitchenette with table, microwave and fridge, private shower and toilet, parking
    3. Continental Breakfast
    4. Free admission for 1 Parent on the all-day Saturday Excursions. Second parent will pay $35 per excursion.

Summer School

    These exciting innovative programs are designed for international students who: have a high level of English and want to learn a subject while improving their English

    Choose your subject of interest!

    1. Science: Ecology and the Environment
    This hands-on program introduces a study of physical geography, natural ecosytems and their protection, the transformation of rural landscape with its consequences, and the challenges of urban management. Visits to Lafleche Caves, Gatineau National Park, Mer Bleue Peatbogs, Experimental Farm, Waste Management Plant, and more.

    2. Theatre Arts: Romeo & Juliet through Pop Culture Combining modern dialogue with popular music for a sharp, new learning experience, this program consists of Mime, Theatre Games, Combat Fighting, Singing for Actors, Mask Production, Costuming, Stage Makeup Application and more.

International Academic Year Program

    International Academic Year is a program designed to prepare adolescents to enter the Canadian public school system. The program focuses on English language training combined with academic and social studies. To broaden contact within the community, students may participate in volunteer programs.

    Fees includes:
    • English Immersion

    • Volunteer work - meeting and working with Canadians (optional)

Winter Break in Ottawa or Toronto

    Learn to skate and ski or just enjoy soft snowflakes falling on your cheeks! Every winter, students from around the world come to learn English and experience a white winter holiday.

    Students may choose from two cities, Ottawa or Toronto. In the mornings, they attend classes taught by professional language teachers. Afternoons and weekends are packed full of sightseeing, sports and cultural activities. Combo packages are also available (2 weeks in Ottawa and 2 weeks in Toronto).

Summer Camp - Ottawa

    Ottawa, the National's Capital, is Canada's 4th largest city. With a population of 822,600, it is a safe city for children and youth. Situated along the Ottawa and Rideau Rivers, Ottawa is a fun place to study English or French and offers many opportunities to practice both languages. As it is the capital, there are festivals and events happening every week all year round. Summer Language Camps are held downtown on a beautiful university campus.

    Students have free access to a large computer room with high speed internet, cafeteria and snack bar. The campus is in a beautiful green setting with lots of mature trees, playing fields and the Rideau River in the back. Public transportation is easily accessible.

    The Residence is on campus just steps from where the classes are held.

    Each suite features:
    • Two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed
    • Private kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator, and sink
    • Private three piece bathroom
    • Large desk and work area
    • Cable television, air conditioning, internet access

Summer Camp - Toronto

    Toronto is Canada's biggest and most vibrant city. With lots of attractions, people enjoy the excitement this city has to offer. Toronto English Summer Camp is held in the prestigious Yorkville area in a modern building with bright, air-conditioned classrooms. It is located just beside the Bloor-Yonge Subway allowing for easy transportation to all parts of Toronto. Students from around the world attend these excellent English language programs where learning & fun go hand-in-hand.

Language Instruction

    On the first day, students are tested and placed in small group classes where they learn to communicate in their new language - French or English - right from the very first lesson. Focus is placed on developing students' listening and speaking skills and is taught through interesting, age-appropriate, interactive lessons.

    Students receive a report card and certificate on their last day at camp indicating a summary of the material covered and their progress.
