Method and Approach: |
|
The school uses a communicative and functional approach. Right from the very first lesson, you are immersed in the target language. Each lesson is task-based starting with a dialogue that introduces the focus structure in the context of everyday speech. This method allows you to "hear and see" the language in a practical manner. Each lesson is consolidated through reading and writing exercises. In this way, all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are mastered. Further consolidation is achieved by reviewing past grammar points in each lesson. Our approach to language teaching is like a spiral - gradually growing and developing until you are able to understand and converse with ease in your target language.
Our Specialized Programs, such as Clear Speech and Writing for Business, are advanced language programs where you may refine your language skills to the degree you desire.
Experienced Staff and the Joy of Learning
Our teachers have the training, experience and skills to make you feel comfortable in your new learning environment. Learning a language is a challenging task but a compassionate teacher can help you to make it a positive and rewarding experience. We want to encourage you to take risks, make mistakes and in this way, you will learn to communicate with confidence and ease. You did it in your first language, why not a second, third or fourth?
Teaching Resources
The school has a wide variety of professional classroom materials in both languages for all levels including texts, audio material - tapes and CDs, computer software programs, and videos.
