Located in Canmore, Alberta, the English Language school is just 20 minutes east of the Town of Banff. We strive to make sure our students have high quality English lessons in a small classroom and a chance to experience genuine Canadian Rocky living in our friendly mountain community. We are also surrounded by some of the best skiing in Canada with Sunshine Village and Lake Louise ski resort nearby.
Our Ski-Snowboard program offers two afternoons of guided skiing at Sunshine Village and a full day of unguided skiing at Lake Louise. In addition, students will receive 12 hours of core English instruction and 4 elective credits which may be exchanged for elective courses (1 credit = 1 90-minute elective course) or an activity from our Winter Activity schedule (Tuesday or Thursday afternoon). Ski Snowboard Program Includes
- 12 hours in our English Communication Program (8:30-11:30 M-R)
- 2 guided afternoons with a Certified Ski Instructor at Sunshine Village (Monday + Wednesday)
- 1 full-day unguided at Lake Louise (Friday)
- 4 elective credits to use on afternoon elective courses or activities
- all lift tickets and transportation to and from the hills
- level testing and ongoing counseling according to Canadian Language Benchmarks
