Argentina is the second largest country in the region with about 35 million inhabitants of which a third live in the great metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. Spanish, French, English and Italian architecture, beautiful parks and statues, never ending night life, and rich cultural activity have captivated tourists and convinced many to return to this magical city called the Paris of the Americas.

It would take you a lifetime to visit all the restaurants, cafes and countless tango clubs the city has to offer. You might even run into couples dancing tango in the streets. If you are a theater lover you will be astonished by the wide variety of plays available and you won't want to miss a world-class opera or ballet at the renowned Colon.

Even though Buenos Aires has a population of over 9 million people, it is considered a safe city for foreigners. You will find it very common to see men and women walking by themselves at early hours of the morning on any day of the week, especially since night life goes on until sunrise in many clubs, café's, and even book stores and restaurants.

Starting from North to South you will find the city of Salta with its strong Indian (Diaguita) influence and unique "tren de las nubes" train ride. Mendoza with its world known wineries; Misiones with its spectacular Iguazu falls and Jesuit missions. In the heart of Argentina there is the vast land called La Pampa with its famous estancias, gauchos and asados. To the west you will find Bariloche, right in the Andes, with its world class ski resort, blue-green lakes and delicious chocolate. At the south of Argentina Santa Cruz with its Perito Moreno Glacier; and the southern most city on the planet, Ushuaia, located in Tierra del Fuego alongside the Beagle Channel.

The city of Córdoba is the second most important city in Argentina. It is located in the middle of the country, about 700 km from Buenos Aires. It's a city known for the richness of its history. Nowadays, it is a popular destination for university students who visit from all over Argentina. Córdoba's many magnificent churches, historic monuments, beautiful parks, wide avenues, and rich cultural services make it a very attractive place for anyone coming to Argentina. Córdoba has an international airport and excellent tourism services

Anyone traveling to Salta should not miss the unique opportunity to travel on the famous "Tren de las Nubes" (Train of the Clouds). Since 1932, trains have been running tirelessly on the rails between Valle de Lerma and Puna, transporting cargo such as minerals, fruits and vegetables. This is now one of Argentina's most famous tourist attractions. The "Tren de las Nubes" winds through the high mountains rumbling through small towns where time seems to have stood still. It passes ruins passing ruins of ancient civilizations that have mysteriously disappeared, as well as amazing examples of man's will to create, such as the majestic "La Polvorilla" bridge, known as a miracle of engineering. Those who have experienced this incredible journey say that it is an exhilarating ride with views that makes one feel as though the train were flying.

Located in Los Glaciares National Park in the southern Argentinean Patagonia, Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most impressive sights in Argentina, if not all of Latin America. The glacier stretches 17 kms down from the Patagonia ice field to Lake Argentina, where its 4 km wide blue ice wall rises 50 to 70 meters above the lake. Located in the same park are two of the most spectacular peaks in Patagonia, Fitz-Roy and Cerro Torre.

Traveling to Iguazu means visiting the town of "Puerto Iguazu", which is located in the middle of the Iguazu and the Parana rivers. This is the "gateway" to the world famous Iguazu Falls. The majesty of these falls, their astounding beauty with waterfalls that give the illusion of magic rainbows, plus the virgin forest with its brilliant colors, exotic subtropical vegetation with over 2000 species of plants and 400 kinds of birds, its incredible fauna and wild rivers, make Iguazu one of the most visited places in South America. For all those who enjoy seeing nature at her most astounding, Iguazu is not-to-be-missed.

The city of Puerto Madryn is located in the province of Chubut, on the shores of the New Golf. The city is a "World Heritage Site" and is known as the "City of Whales". It is famous for its whale sightings, as well as penguin and sea elephant colonies. It also has wonderful beaches and an amazing variety of fauna. For all those interested in the mysteries and beauty of sea life, Puerto Madryn is sure to capture your heart with its incredible charm.

Bariloche is the capital of the Andean Patagonia. It is a beautiful town located near the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake, which has glacial origins and covers 560 square kilometers. Bariloche is known for its incredible landscape, delicious chocolate and active cultural life. The city is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world, and in all seasons of the year. In the winter, Bariloche offers first class skiing and snowboarding, and during the rest of the year, activities such as: trekking, white water rafting, bird watching, fly-fishing and sailing.
