Travel and Transportation

Special airfare arrangements have been made for participants in this program. This special air ticket package includes (a) round-trip airfare between New York City (JFK International Airport) and Brazil, and (b) all five domestic flights within Brazil.

It is recommended that participants purchase this air ticket package in order to take advantage of the special group prices. However, participants may purchase their own air tickets to Brazil if they wish. Those participants who consider purchasing their own tickets to Brazil should first contact the program director for information on purchasing the additional domestic air tickets within Brazil.

Ground transportation to and from airports within Brazil is included in the cost of the program. Other local ground transportation, such as buses, subways, and taxis, is not included; however, local transportation costs within Brazil are relatively inexpensive.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Students planning to use financial aid to fund their overseas study should contact us for a financial aid letter which details the cost of the program and estimates expenses not included in the program. Students should take the letter to Financial Aid and meet with a counselor.
