The School was founded in 1981 and was accredited by the governmental body Campus Austria in 1990 as a language school of outstanding merit. It is a small school located in the internationally famous ski resort in the Austrian Alps, surrounded by exceptional natural beauty.

Our intensive German course is different from other German language schools for three main reasons:
- Small classes: Our classes are very small, with never more than 6 people per class, and a yearly average of 3-4.
- Free time programme: Our free time programme is very extensive. We offer at least one activity every day of the week, in addition to the regular Monday to Friday morning classes. We use our extensive local knowledge to exploit this fabulous region. See FAQs Free time.
- A friendly welcome: You will find that a small school has a lot of personal benefits. A teacher accompanies every free time programme, so your contact to German speakers is much greater than just in lesson time.
This means that your German improves very fast, you get to know your class mates and people from other classes very well, you get to know the teachers and staff very well, and you are speaking German all the time.
It's important that your stay here should be fun as well as educational, and staying in a small school means that you can get very involved in the free time programme if you want to and learn a lot about the region as well as the language.

Combine Your Language Learning
with Skiing, Golf, Tennis and Hiking!
Many people want to combine their language holiday with a specific sport, such as skiing, golf, tennis, riding, hiking, climbing, swimming and many others. Kitzbühel is a ski resort and offers extensive pistes for skiers and snowboarders of all standards. It is internationally famous because of the annual World Championship Downhill Ski Race. If you are thinking of combining German and skiing, Kitzbühel is certainly ideal. We are two minutes from the bus stop, and Kitzbühel has 300km of pistes.
The school is very popular in summer too. There are 4 golf courses in Kitzbühel and more and more people are choosing to combine learning German and golf or tennis. Kitzbühel is also host to the Austrian Tennis Open Championships. In addition, our free time programme in summer includes trips to Salzburg, Innsbruck, Munich and many other places of historical or cultural interest.
