English Language Courses in Burleigh Heads

English language classes are conducted in a challenging and fun way to help you learn English quickly and survive in an English speaking country. Small classes (maximum of 10 students) guarantee that you will receive individual attention in a fun, interactive learning environment.

• Intensive English
  This course is designed to help you improve all of your English skill areas, use English more accurately and gain communicative confidence.


• Business English
  This course is specifically designed for intermediate plus students who wish to improve their English skills within a business context for career purposes, further study in the area of Business and also for students preparing for the internationally recognised Cambridge BEC Exams.


• Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE) Preparation
  This 12-week course is specifically designed for Intermediate plus students who wish to increase their knowledge and accuracy of English for further formal education, for employment and also for students preparing for the Cambridge First Certificate in English examination.


• English plus Surfing
  This program is designed for students who wish to study Intensive General English combined with professional surfing or bodyboarding school.


• English plus Scuba Diving
  This course is designed for students who wish to study Intensive General English AND study to receive a worldwide recognised PADI scuba diving licence.


• English plus Golf
  This program is designed for students wishing to maximise their golfing abilities, including students with ambitions of joining the professional ranks of golf whilst improving their English skills.


• Country Stay
  Our school in Burleigh Heads offers a unique total English immersion experience. Includes afternoon excursions, activities and Homestay program.

Before starting classes all students are to sit for a written Placement Test as well as take part into an oral evaluation. The combined results of these two tests allow for the placement of new students in their appropriate level. In the event that students feel that they were misplaced a Placement Grievance Procedures is in place for their placements to be reconsidered.

To better respond to the individual needs and abilities of our students we offer 4 different levels.

• Elementary
• Pre-Intermediate
• Intermediate
• Upper-Intermediate
• Advanced

Each level takes aproximately 12 weeks to complete.
