Spanish Language Courses
and Spanish Plus Tango Program:
Spanish Language Programs:
- Program A: group classes (55 minutes per class, 6 students max. per class)
Frequency: 20 hours per week.
- Program B: private classes (45 minutes per class)
10 to 40 private classes per week. You may choose frequency.
- Program C (intensive): Group plus Private
20 group classes plus 10 private classes per week.
If you consider yourself a fast learner and wish to make the most of your time we suggest you take 40 private classes per week (30 real hours).
All programs include workshops on Argentine History, Culture and Politics from intermediate level on.
Note: for Advanced and Superior level we recommend private classes. Students of these levels should be exposed only to native perfect Spanish and may focus classes on specific disciplines. Group classes for these levels are subject to availability.
Spanish Plus Tango Program:
Add daily tango classes (60 minutes each) plus 2 outings a week to dance it in real "milongas" to your Spanish program.
Just choose your Spanish Program ( A, B or C) and add extra $80 per week.
Classes are held at one of the best tango academies in town. Learn to tango or improve your technique in intensive classes: Leading to an effective learning and personalized approach. A preestablished programe takes into account the particular characteristics of each person.
Spanish Teaching Method
Direct. Based on conversation. Active learning. Language structures, vocabulary and idiomatic expression in the context of areas that are useful to arrive at fluency as quickly as possible.
Tuition is rotational, students have 2 or 3 teachers in order to be exposed to a variety of approaches, voices, etc.
Materials
Book I and II. Exercises for Intensive Spanish Course, Intermediate Spanish (Conversation), Espaņol en Directo 1 y 2, Selection of material from the media (videos, newspapers, etc.) Talking Business in Spanish, Latino American novels and short stories, Nivel de Perfeccionamiento. A que no Sabes? (Advanced level).
Levels of Instruction
Beginner: 40 hours, Elementary: 40 hours, Lower Intermediate: 40 hours, Intermediate: 40 hours, Upper Intermediate: 40 hours, Advanced: 80 hours. Superior: 120 hours.
Curriculum and Credits
We will issue a certificate and official transcript stating the program the student covered and
performance. This transcript may be sent directly to the student's home institution for credit transfer.
