The Trainee Program is especially designed for students and recent graduates who are looking for a challenging working experience abroad. Professional experience abroad looks great on a resume. Furthermore, most participants finish our program speaking fluent Spanish. This, added to the work accomplished in a different culture and circumstances, will be greatly appreciated by future employees.
We have a variety of vacancies such as working in a hospital, organizing sport competitions, teaching abandoned children in an orphanage how to cook or working in a luxurious three star hotel.
Our school offers traineeships in the following fields:
- Medical Field
- Social/Legal Work
- Arts & Handicrafts
Working and living in Argentina might be quite a challenge. Thus, it is important to rely upon an organization with a good network of contacts throughout Argentina. In addition to arranging traineeships our school also helps the participants with their Spanish classes, accommodation, cultural activities and excursions. This allows the trainee to concentrate on the things that are really important, such as the content and the quality of the traineeship.
An eight week Spanish course (either one-on-one or group) is required for all the trainee positions. This will enable a complete beginner to communicate in Spanish upon finishing the course. The course includes grammar, conversation, listening, reading and writing. During their placement, trainees can attend our specially designed Spanish Classes for Volunteers & Interns once a week, totally for free. This will allow them to rehearse their Spanish in an informal and entertaining way.
During the Spanish Course, the participants will choose where to stay: with a host family or in one of our Student Flats. During the working period, the trainees will stay in one of our luxurious student flats. All student flats are located in the residential neighborhoods in Buenos Aires and are fully furnished and equipped.
The traineeship program is designed for students or recent graduates in all fields with a minimum age of 18 years old. The only formal requirement is a minimum commitment of twenty weeks. The first four weeks of the program will be spent studying Spanish; the traineeship will continue for at least sixteen more weeks. In order to work in some of the organizations, the participants might have to take more than four weeks of Spanish to reach a more advanced level of Spanish. After consulting with our academic coordinator we will determine the length of Spanish study. Furthermore you will have to meet the requirements of the placement of your choice (if any).
